PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) Therapy
What is PRF?
Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a next-generation regenerative treatment that uses your own blood to harness natural growth factors in a fibrin matrix. Unlike PRP, PRF forms a scaffold that gradually releases growth factors over time, aiding in healing, rejuvenation, skin renewal, and tissue regeneration.
What PRF can do for you
-
Promote skin regeneration: improve texture, glow, and tone
-
Reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and volume loss
-
Help with acne scars, pigmentation, sun damage
-
Support hair restoration in thinning or receding areas
-
Enhance healing after other treatments, improving recovery
How it works
-
Consultation – We evaluate your skin/hair condition, discuss your goals, and determine whether PRF is right for you.
-
Blood draw – A small sample of your blood is taken under sterile conditions.
-
Processing – The blood is placed in special tubes and spun in a centrifuge to form a fibrin clot with high concentration of platelets.
-
Application / Injection – PRF is then injected into target areas (skin or scalp) or applied in ways suited to your needs.
-
Aftercare – You may experience mild swelling, redness or sensitivity. We’ll provide instructions to support healing and safety.
What to expect
-
Duration: Approx. 45-60 minutes (including prep & consultation)
-
Downtime: Minimal; most people resume daily activities quickly, with some mild swelling or bruising for 1-2 days
-
Sessions: Usually recommended in a series (e.g. 2-4 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart) to achieve optimal results, with possible maintenance thereafter
